Facial analysis · on your device

Know your face before anyone treats it.

Get informed before an invasive cosmetic procedure. CONTOUR scans your face in about five seconds, maps fourteen treatment zones and explains each one: what is typically used there, why, and the risks to ask your provider about.

From the zone report

Lips / vermilion

Vermilion body, border, philtral columns

Modality classSoft, cohesive HA

Risk profileSuperior and inferior labial arteries. Swelling is significant for 24–72h and patients routinely misread it as the result.

Why this classRheology matters more than volume. A soft, low G-prime, high-cohesivity gel moves naturally with speech; a firm structural product here reads immediately as artificial and palpates as lumps. Volbella-class products are for definition and hydration; Ultra/Kysse-class for body.

  • A face zone report

Fourteen zones from forehead to jawline, each with a symmetry reading measured from your own live scan.

  • The risks, zone by zone

What can go wrong in each zone, in plain terms: the arteries and nerves nearby and the complications providers work to avoid.

  • What is used, and why

The product class typically used in each zone, the agent families, the plane it goes in, the reasoning behind it and the options beyond injectables.

How it works

  1. Create an account

Sign up with email or Google, then agree to on-device processing before the camera turns on.

  2. Scan for about five seconds

Face the camera in even light and hold still. The analysis runs in your browser; no image or video is recorded or uploaded.

  3. Read your zone report

Each zone’s measured symmetry with its information: treatment class, risks and alternatives. An experimental visible-age range is on a screen of its own, shown only if you ask.

Fourteen zones, and what to know about each

Three zones are open here as samples: what can go wrong there, and why a class of product is used. Your scan report opens all fourteen, each with its treatment class, products, placement, risks and alternatives.

  • Forehead / frontalisIn your report
  • Glabella ("the 11s")NeuromodulatorSample
Risk profileThe glabella is the single highest-risk region on the face for filler — the supratrochlear artery communicates with the retinal circulation. Vascular occlusion here has caused blindness. Toxin, not filler.

Why this classThe original FDA-approved cosmetic indication for botulinum toxin. Almost never a filler zone in modern practice.

  • Lateral canthal linesIn your report
  • Tear trough / infraorbitalSoft, low-hydrophilic HASample
Risk profileHigh-risk zone. Malar oedema, Tyndall (blue-grey discolouration) from superficial placement, and angular artery compromise. Widely considered an advanced-injector-only region.

Why this classThe most technique-sensitive zone on the face. Requires a low G-prime, low-swell product placed deep on bone — never superficially. Frequently the hollow is secondary to midface descent, in which case the correct move is to treat the cheek and re-assess, not to fill the trough.
